ROI partner based in Turkey, Teknokom, recently installed a Multi-storey order picking automation system in the Spare Parts Warehouse of Karaca Zuccaciye.
The end user, Karaca, is an award winning, leading design brand of high quality home appliances and kitchen products online for their consumers.
The system consists of the following components:
- PTL (Pick/Put To Light) based Multiple Order Picking Carts on each floor
- Conveyors that provide the movement of totes between floors
- Automatic invoice inserting system into the totes
- Automatic volume measurement system for parcels going to shipment
The system utilises Interroll’s Modular Conveyor Platform and can all be viewed in this following short video, put together by the team at Teknokom.
